A Superb Boxed WWII Colt 1911 A1. Serial number dates this pistol to 1943. It has the initials "GHD" Guy H. Drewry, these markings are the correct US Military inspection stamps used on Colt made 1911's during WWII production. The pictures do not convey just how impressive the deep blued mirror finish is on this pistol. This stunning pistol comes in an original US custom made wooden Springfield Armory 1911 A1 presentation box. A superb and extremely desirable set. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
