This is an early Second World War dated British, Enfield No2 MK1 .38 revolver. This example is dated 1938 and has all visible numbers matched. The No2 revolver was issued to all branches of the British army and saw service on all fronts throughout the war. It is deactivated to current specifications with moving parts and working break action and under the current EU specifications is permitted to have clear chambers. This allows for the insertion of inert rounds.
