This is an early production Uberti Colt 1862 Navy percussion revolver, chambered in .44. Marked on top of the barrel "Navy Arms Co, Ridgefield N.J." The proof markings XXVI date this revolver to 1970 as the year of manufacture. It is fitted with brass frame and pistol grip, blued cylinders and barrel and case hardened loading rod, trigger and hammer. Deactivated with a working action and clear chambers.
