Product Information

A truly fabulous set, a First Word War dated Webley MK6 with a Pritchard-Greener bayonet & scabbard, shoulder stock attachment with brass adaptor grip, lanyard cord and six inert .455 rounds. Dated 1917, this MK6 was originally issued for service during the First World War to a British or Commonwealth officer, afterwhich it was "sold out of service" and was then supplied to the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) to help with policing during the troubles and unrest in Northern Ireland.

The Pritchard-Greener bayonet's were intended for use by trench raiding parties in the first world war. It gave the British officer the advantage, whilst in the confines of the trenches to use his revolver even if out of ammunition. Very few were made and even fewer exit today. They were designed using a French Gras Model 1874 bayonet and then modified and adapted to fit the MK6.
