Product Information

Deactivated WWI French Lebel Revolver Modele 1892. Dated 1912. Used by the French during WWI, many saw action in WWII as well. This was the first European revolver to incorporate a swing-out cylinder, this assisted rapid reloading. This particular example has had the cylinder, gate, trigger, hammer and lanyard hoop plated. This would have been to order, and most probably for a ranking officer. The Lebel  fired an 8mm round. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. These early WWI examples are becoming very sought after and hard to find.
