Product Information

Deactivated WWII Inglis Browning FN Hi-Power No2 MKI* 9mm Pistol. A very interesting example. The serial number CH2058 dates to June 1944 and is part of the first Chinese contract pistols being built. Numbers ran CH1015 - CH8014 that month with CH1 being the first one. Meaning that this pistol is only number two thousand and fifty eighth with only around 66, 900 or so ever made. These pistols were intended for the Chinese but the vast majority never shipped with most being either utilised by British and Canadian forces or remaining in storage. The British SOE acquired around 6,000 of these pistol during WWII. This pistol looks to be one of those pistols. It bears British proof stamps, letters CP under a Crown on both frame and slide. The finish is original with signs of holster wear as are the grips. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
