This is a WWII "Lend Lease" Lee Enfield No4 MKI* Rifle. This rifle was manufactured by US firm Savage Stevens in 1942 under the Lend Lease agreement. This agreement was between the UK and US Governments where by the US supplied the British with various weapons. These weapons were marked "US Property" and were shipped over for use by British and Allied troops in Europe during WWII. It comes with an original sling, Savage made pig sticker bayonet & scabbard, plus inert .303 rounds and clip. A great set.
