This is a WWII Russian PPS43, dated 1944 and matching bolt. First produced in 1943 it was used extensively by the Red Army during WWII. The Cyrillic "C" is the makers mark of the Stalin Auto factory. If captured they were often used by German troops, as it was reliable and worked well in all weather conditions.

Deactivated with a moving cocking handle and bolt selection that can be pulled back and when released will return under spring tension.
