This is an original WWII US made and issued Smith & Wesson .38 M&P revolver dating to late 1941. It is not a "Victory" model, the serial number has no V prefix and there are no other countires property markings. This revolver made around the same time that the Japanese made their surprise attack on the US Naval fleet stationed at Pearl Harbour in December 1941. All relevant serial and production numbers are matched and correct, and the finish is completely orginal.
