A lovely condition WWII US Springfield M1903 A3 Rifle. Manufactured by Remington dated September 1943 (9'43). Classic World War Two US rifle. It was used by US forces throughout WWII, and saw action during the Korean and Vietnam wars. They also made excellent sniper rifles. This type of rifle was used in its sniper form by Private Daniel Jackson in the WWII block buster "Saving Private Ryan", where he famously took out a German sniper by shooting him through his scope. This excellent rifle comes with correct canvas sling, WWII Utica Cutlery (UC) made bayonet & scabbard plus inert 30.06 rounds, and original tool kit with correct contents. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
