Product Information

WWII German MG34 / MG42 ammunition can manufactured by Georgi, Ernst, Metallwaren-Fabrik, Beierfeld/Erzgeb. under secret code "gnt" . The box was used to transport 7.92mm belts of ammunition. They were initially used with the MG34 and later with the MG42. This box looks to have been painted in the "Normandy" colours. A very similar paint scheme was applied to German helmets. Would look great displayed with either machine gun.
