Deactivated Tranter .450 Revolver. This type of huge revolver was used by British officers during the Zulu War. This actual revolver was only recently discovered in Africa and is brand new to the collectors market. It is also marked with two broad arrows (crows feet) facing each other. This denotes War Department Sale. It would have most likely be purchased privately after useful service. A rare and historic British revolver.
