One of the rarer MP40s of WWII, Erma only produced the MP40 until 1943 and in smaller numbers due to still making the MP38. This example, unlike most others is nearly all original parts from the day of manufacture. The trigger assembly, receiver and barrel are All matched (serial number 6603e). These parts also carry the correct Waffen code (Eagle over 280) , along with the correct subcontractors coded and Waffenamt parts used on Erma built MP40s (cnd & cos, WaA254 & WaA44). Much of the original finish remains, fitted with deep cherry Bakelite foregrip and an original leather sling. Deactivated sympathetically in 1989 to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
