This is a rare early production German Gewehr 98 Rifle. Manufactured by DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) dated 1906 with correct imperial stamps with stunning original matched wood work. DWM were first contracted to start manufacture of the Gew98 in 1904. This one is regimentally marked with the initials 11.R.I.41. We believe this to be the abbreviation for 11th Regiment 1st Company, Rifle 41. Comes fitted with an original leather sling. Deactivated with moving parts it comes with an EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
