This is a unique WWII Home Guard scratch built leather holster. The Home Guard were provided with all manner of weapons by the British Government, from WWI Webley .455, .38 S&W revolvers and Colt 1911's. Members of the Home Guard often had to make suitable holsters to carry their sidearm, this being one of those holsters. This one was tailored for the exact requirements of one particular person which makes it so unusual. A Webley MK6, Colt Eley, Enfield .38 or 1911 will all fit this holster.
