An early production rare WWII Nazi Police issued Mauser HSc (First Variant). This example is marked with letter L next to the Nazi Eagle, meaning it was ordered and issued to the Nazi Police. The serial number is from the very first batch issued and is one of only 7,300 produced in 1942 for the Nazi Police. The very low serial number and lanyard hole at the base of the pistol grip (only found on the first model) also confirm this. These pistols also carry the Eagle over N proof markings on frame and slide but do not carry military stamps. The finish and grips are original with correct magazine. They were issued to various branches of the Nazi police including the SS. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
