A First World War German Imperial Army Gewehr 98 rifle. Manufactured by Spandau in 1916, it still retains many matched and original parts. The Gew98 was the German armies standard front line infantry rifle that was used on all fronts during the Great War. It was a very accurate and reliable rifle, many saw service again in WWII with Nazi forces.

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
