This is a great condition Second World War Nazi military issued Mauser Hsc pistol. This is one of the less common examples with three lines in the address legend. Very few were made with this feature. This example is from a batch of only 39,000 procured by the German military in 1943. The Hsc was ahead of its time in terms of design and looks and were very popular with all service branches of the Nazi regime, often bought by Nazi officers and officials. This one has its original finish, grips and magazine and has the correct Nazi wartime proof stamps - Eagle over N, and military acceptance stamp Eagle over 135. The additional markings are those of the Norwegians. During WWII Germany had some 400,000 military personnel garrisoned in Norway and one of them had this pistol, almost certainly a ranked Nazi Officer!  When Germany surrendered all captured weapons were put back into service with the Norwegian armed forces and marked accordingly. Deactivated to current specifications with moving slide and trigger. The magazine can be removed.
