A rare early production WWII Nazi Police marked Sauer 38H pistol. Stamped with Nazi Eagle Swastika with the letter C on the left side of the trigger guard. This is the acceptance marking found on Sauer 38H pistols that were issued to the Nazi police. The pistols serial number 302247 is from the very first variant procured by the Nazi police and dates to around 1940. It also has the rare early chequered magazine release button of which very few were fitted with. This pistol would have been destined for one of the Nazi police units of which the infamous Gestapo were part of. Only of 30,000 were contracted to the Nazi police. Most being procured by the German army. Fitted with unblemished grips and correct magazine. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
