Deactivated WWII Nazi Walther PPK(Polizei Pistole Kriminal) in 7.65mm calibre. The serial number 404854K dates to 1943 production. The Eagle over N proof markings were only used on PPKs after April 1940. With matching numbers to frame and slide. The finish is late war, with the emphasis of numbers rather than highly finished pistols. Towards the end of the war these late war production PPKs were issued to various branches of the Nazi regime, including the infamous Waffen SS and Gestapo. Many were destroyed or completely refinished after the war. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
