This is a rare early production Nazi "G" coded Luger. The letter G was only used for 1935s production, the second year of Nazi Luger manufacture. A single letter code was used to conceal the Germans secret re-armament build up from the rest of the world. Very few were made in 1935, around 58,000. This example has the early dropped winged Wermair eagle and Mauser Eagle over 63 acceptance stamps. It is fitted with the correct period Nazi marked aluminum based magazine. A very sought after Luger.
