Product Information

Rare WWII Nazi Walther PP marked to RFV 2671 W (Reichsfinanzverwaltung) . This PP was issued to a member of the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung or Finance Ministry officials such as Customs officers or border police. This organization was also responsible for customs collections and border crossings until the end of WWII.  This early example dates to before April 1940 and is correctly marked with the nitro proof stamps crown over N on frame, slide and barrel. The serial 816652 and 90 degree safety both confirm this to be an early issue pistol. Walther introduced the PP in 1929 with serial numbers starting at 750,001. That means that this pistol is number 66,651st and dates to 1935. Early Nazi PP pistols are rare pistols but are seldom seen with RFV markings. The finish and grips are original and the magazine is the correct period with the Walther banner stamped at the bottom.
