An extremely rare US .44 Auto MAG pistol. Very few were ever made less than 3,000 and from this total ever fewer of this, the model 180 Pasadena. At the time of its introduction the Auto Mag Pistol (AMP) fired the most powerful production handgun round on the market. The incredible engineering and build quality made them impossible to produce for a profit, and the company lost nearly a grand on each one sold which soon led to bankruptcy. This example is in near mint original condition with special custom solid wood grips fitted. The company records show that this actual gun was manufactured on the 12th April 1972. Pictured along side the AMP magazine is a 9mm Browning High Power magazine to give a comparison of the huge round this hand cannon fires!

This model came to great notoriety when used by Clint Eastwood in the classic 'Dirty Harry' movie "Sudden Impact".

This may well be the only one of its type deactivated in the UK, as so few were exported from the USA. The hand made presentation box was commissioned and built in the US specifically for this pistol. An original factory issued manual and inert rounds accompany this rare pistol.
