A very impressive Smith & Wesson .357 Highway Patrolman Revolver, model 28.  As the name suggests it was marketed as a US Police sidearm. The .357 Magnum round giving more stopping power over the .38s available. The Patrolman has been used in countless action movies and TV dramas. Most memorably by the A-Team. Deactivated sympathetically with dummy rounds fitted into the cylinders to give the appearance of being loaded. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
