A lovely condition Austrian police issued Walther PPK by Manurhin. Police marked pistols are fairly unusual but this one is marked to one of the rarest of all the Austrian police units. The initials LGK No 426 refer to the Lower Austria police. There are nine Austrian police provinces Vorarlberg, Tirol, Salzburg, Carinthia, Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland and Police Headquarters "Landespolizeikommando" that are responsible for the organisation of the Police within their provinces. Lower Austria have some of the fewest officers and therefore far fewer issued sidearms. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
