Product Information

All matching numbers 1966 dated SMLE 2A1 rifle, chambered 7.62mm NATO. Using the No1 MKIII rifle platform it was built to chamber the then new 7.62mm cartridge being used in the British SLR. The most obvious visual difference is the square box magazine and butt stock end cap also from the SLR. These rifles make great shooters. An FAC is required with the correct variation to purchase this rifle. Can be deactivated to order with a full working action at an additional cost.
