First World War German Imperial Army Gewehr 98 (Gew98) rifle dated 1918 manufactured by Mauser. The Gew98 was the standard issue long arm for German forces during WWI, with many being re issued and deployed for the Second World War. It has a very strong and reliable action and still is a very accurate rifle and make great shooters. The serial number 4813d dates this example to early 1918.  This rifle is live and requires a firearms license with the correct variation to be purchased. Can be deactivated to order with a working action at an additional cost.

The bore is in great condition with strong rifling and action is smooth and crisp. Chambered in 8 x 57.
