Product Information

Lee Metford MKII .303 rifle manufactured by L.S..A .Co (London Small Arms Company), and dated 1894. It was converted by Enfield in 1909 to charger loading and restamped CLLE meaning Charger Loading Lee Enfield. This rifle is in remarkable condition, both internally and externally. It is still live and bore and rifling are in very good condition. Externally it still has its original finish on barrel and metal work. The forward dial volley sight looks as good as the day it was fitted. This is a very rare rifle and would make an excellent addition to any collection. Even better it can still be shot. This is a section 1 firearm and the buyer would require a f.a.c with a slot for a .303 rifle. Also available for purchase separately is a Metford bayonet with original leather scabbard. This has regimental markings and is dated 1893. The price of the bayonet is not included.
