This is an original early WWII production Nazi MP38 or MP40 submachine gun magazine. The makers code is "27" = Erma with correct Waffen acceptance WaA280 and date stamp of 1940. This magazine was converted from a slab sided to the ribbed type by Haenal and stamped WaA387 by them to indicate this. Note the ribbing stops before reaching the reinforcing at the top. This magzine is competely original and in full working order.
