First World War M1917 Bayonet & Scabbard with integral leather frog. Marked with US Government ordnance flaming grenade, Eagles head stamp and number 26, on the reverse the Remington roundal with the date 1917. Complete with an original olive drab painted stiff leather scabbard marked F.I.C., with steel mounts, brass belt hooks and leather belt mount. The leather frog looks to be made by B.H.& G and dated 1941. They fit the US P17 & UK P14 rifles and used in both world wars and were also fitted to combat shotguns during WWI.
