Product Information

This is an original WWII German Model 1924 Stielhandgranate (M24) stick grenade. The handle is marked with the date code 43 (1943) and Nazi makers initials FCC = Nier, Hermann, Metallwarenfabrik, Beierfeld in Sachsen. Stick grenades were used by German forces during both world wars. It was nick named the "Potato Masher" by Allied troops. This example still has the pull cord and porcelain ball intact, and the screw on cap has the original paper insert. The can has its belt hoop. Although some of the tread is missing it still screws into the handle thread.
