Wilkinson, London, Long Lee/Metford Rifle Pattern 1888 Bayonet & Scabbard dated. The blade is covered in date codes ranging from 1892, 1895, 1898 and 1900, with War Department and broad arrow marked. An extremely well issued bayonet. This an early pattern design with brass riveted handle and hole drilled through above the first brass rivet. Stamped on the pommel with the weapon number 543.
