This is a rare WWI & WWII British naval Webley .455 Automatic pistol leather holster. It is dated 5/4 May 1940 and is broad arrow stamped. The holster will fit the Webley .455 automatic pistol and the MK6 .455 revolver. They were first issued during WWI to Royal Naval Division Officers & Royal Naval Air Service pilots and saw service and during WWII being issued to Royal Navy Officers. This example is still in superb original condition with all of its brass rivets and adjustable carry strap in tact. Under the flap is the makers mark PHd, broad arrow acceptance stamp and the owners initials "F.B." with the weapon number below.
