Product Information

A Second World War Vickers Machine Gun Clinometer with leather carry case and straps. Both are made by W. Ottway & Co Ltd, Ealing London with the  Clinometer dated 1936  and case 1935. Once attached to the Vickers as the barrel was raised it could be measured against the clinometer to find the angle of elevation. Used by the British in both world wars. Lovely condition item which would make an excellent display with a first or second world war Vickers. The base plate on this one has been modified so that it will also fit other types of weapons.
