Product Information

This is a First World War dated Vickers Machine Gun Clinometer MKI with leather carry case. The Clinometer is by A.K.& S.Ltd, dated 1916. The leather case was made by T.French & Son Ltd, date 1918. Both Clinometer & case are broad arrow stamped. Once attached to the Vickers as the barrel was raised it could be measured against the clinometer to find the angle of elevation. They were used by the British army in both world wars. Lovely condition item which would make an excellent display with a first or second world war Vickers. It is pictured fitted to a 1918 dated Vickers product code 37KO5 which is also available.
