This is a WWII dated Bren gun MKI sustained fire tripod complete with anti aircraft attachments. Marked with the makers initials “AGE” which stands for Australian General Electric, dated 1942 with broad arrow acceptance stamps. It is fitted with graduated adjustable traversing and elevating mechanisms together with adjustable legs with correct clamps & mounting brackets. Often not realised the design incorporates an SMLE bayonet mounting lug so that the rifle can be used as an anti aircraft leg. The SMLE and Bren pictured are not included in this sale.
