Product Information

This is a genuine First World War issued German PO8 Luger holster dated 1918. Unusually the makers name is stamped on the front of the flap and reads; Schulz & Co Lederwarenfabrik Augsburg 1918. On the rear is a "Crown over I." for the Bavarian Royal Cypher which is for King Ludwig III , who reigned 1913–1918. On the inside of the flap are the initials B.A.XI (Bekleidungsamt of Armeekorps-Bezirk XI with headquarters in Kassel). This translates as the Clothing Office for the Army Corps District, which means it was issued with a Luger. The overall condition is still very good with all stitching intact, as is the belt hoops, flap tang and fastening button.
