A lovely original American "Smoker" .38 Rimfire, 5 shot revolver. Circa mid 1870s. In great original condition with its factory Nickel plated finish and American Walnut grips. These small framed revolvers were very popular with gamblers during the infamous period in US history often referred to as the "wild west " dating to the second half of the 19th century. The slim and compact design made it easy to conceal and being chambered in .38 packed one hell of a punch!! Chambered in a obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license. The bore and chambers are in good condition and the single action works well.
