Swiss Military m/1867-1889 Rifle With Regimental Markings

This is a superb Swiss Military m/1867-1889 Rifle with regimental markings. Dated 1871, it was upgraded in 1895 with all matching serial numbers of 4428. The regimental disc reads "8 R. B. No 2457. " The 8th Regiment B company weapon number 2457. On the opposite side is a another disc with what is beleived to be the crest/initials of a college or university who used them for training. This beautifully engineered rifle is chambered in 8x58R obsolete calibre (Section 58) and can be owned without form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. The bore is in very good condition.
