Deactivated Early Production Steyr 1909. The barrel was retained with a pivoting bolt and it was held by a thumb-latch barrel-locking mechanism. The recoil-spring rod ended in a hook engaging a lug on the slide, disengaging automatically when the breech was raised. This example can be dated by the number 10 stamped on the left side just above the serial number 9259, this indicates 1910 production. The right hand grip has been repaired at some stage. Comes fitted with original magazine. Deactivated with a working action, can be cocked, stripped and dry fired .
