Product Information

Deactivated First World War Model M1894 Hebel flare pistol. The German government contracted various smaller companies to produce this type of flare pistol. This example is stamped with the makers initials CHR.F and is all matching numbers. Even the screw heads are numbered. The left side bears the Imperial German proofs, "Crown over A", "Crown over B" and "4" (in the circle) and the Imperial German World War One acceptance mark "Crowned Eagle" . They were used by the German Military throughout both world wars, being used when signalling to German soldier to go "over the top" when leaving their trenches and engaging Allied forces. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
