The Unique Model 51 is basically a continuation of the "Kriegsmodell" pistol developed for the occupying Germans during WWII. Still chambered in the same 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP) cartridge, it features all steel construction, curved backstrap, exposed hammer, and a lanyard hoop below the left grip. This example is stamped on the pistol grip P.Wb which is believed to be an abbreviation used by the Bavarian Police. Deactivated sympathetically in 1991 to old specifications it has a clear barrel and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
