This is a rare and complete First World War, Turkish 75mm Howitzer shell. Dated 1913, it was supplied to the Turks by the Germany Government to defend and prevent shipping access for Allied forces. This famous battle was fort at Gallipoli between 25 April 1915 – 9 January 1916 with Turkish forces repelling the Allies. Fortunately this shell failed to detonate. It has impact marks on the brass fuse head. These shells are seldom see complete and is such good condition.
