Product Information

An original WW1 1913 Pattern P14 Rifle Remington made Bayonet and leather scabbard. It is date stamped July 1917 with the Remington Roundel, and on the reserve are the British acceptance stamps, although it would appear that this bayonet was re-assigned to US troops. The British markings are struck out and "US" added below. The canvas frog has the soldiers number 19197328 and name "Mach" hand written. These bayonets were made under contract by Remington Arms for the British P17 rifle during the first world war. When the USA declared war upon Germany, the bayonets were taken by the US military and used on the model 1917 Enfield rifle.
