An original WWII German K98 leather sling. The buckle was made by L&F - Linden & Funke KG, and has the leather protector. This was fitted so that it didn't mark the rifles wood work. The makers name and date stamp of 1940 is just visible in the leather of the sling. Comes complete with buckle, stopper and leather adjuster hoop.

They were also used on a variety other German weapons during WWII, such as the MP44 & G43 rifles.
